I recently turned 21 and I have just graduated from UWA’s Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences.

Why did you want to join KINOI?

I joined KINOI because I wanted to learn about entrepreneurship, innovation and ultimately, about catering to a good cause. As a person aspiring to start a business in the healthcare field, I strongly believe I can learn about these attributes from KINOI’s successful business model by collaborating with our founder, Issy. In the future, I hope to replicate and apply my knowledge from this internship to my very own company!

What have you learnt since joining KINOI?

During my past few months here at KINOI, I have gained significant insights into the field of eCommerce such as daily operations, time management and most importantly, taking initiative. I have learnt that these are key to bringing your vision to fruition, of which is the first important step of making a change in society. Here at KINOI, this is what continually drives our goal - our vision to make a sustainable future.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Playing badminton, socialising and enjoying some bubble tea with my Bamboo KINOI cup/straw set!

If you had $1M dollars, what would you spend it on?
I would spend it on investing and learning how to invest. Not only would investing help to grow the initial $1M dollars (provided it is done correctly), but it would also help in attaining knowledge about the macroeconomics of the rapidly diversifying digital age. This knowledge would be invaluable, as we continue to increase our dependency on technology, especially due to its convenience - of which characterises eCommerce businesses like KINOI.

What’s your favourite country/place to travel to?

Japan -  the photo above was taken at the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove near Kyoto!
